PLM-60 paper capping machine is a common sealing equipment widely used in food, medicine and other industries. The sealing method usually uses heat sealing or cold sealing technology to ensure the sealing of the packaging and the quality of the product.
There are two main sealing methods for PLM-60 paper lid machine: heat sealing and cold sealing. These two methods have their own advantages under different circumstances and can meet the packaging needs of different types of products.
Heat sealing method:
The heat sealing method of the PLM-60 paper lid machine is based on heat sealing technology. In this way, first, after the packaged items are filled into packaging bags or containers, the lid or sealing position is placed under the machine. The heat sealing strip or knife on the machine is then activated and applies heat to the sealing material. The sealing material is usually a packaging material with a heat sealing layer, such as a plastic film. The heat sealing layer will soften after being heated and come into contact with the mouth of the bag or container, and then quickly cool and solidify to form a strong seal. The entire sealing process is usually completed in an instant, ensuring efficient production speeds. The heat sealing strip or heat sealing knife on the PLM-60 paper capping machine is the key component to achieve heat sealing. These components are usually made of high-temperature-resistant materials that can withstand high temperatures and transfer heat evenly to the sealing material. The design of the heat sealing strip or heat sealing knife allows it to accurately contact the mouth of the bag or container and apply the right amount of pressure to ensure that the sealing material is completely fused together. The PLM-60 paper lid machine has a precise temperature and pressure control system to ensure that the temperature and pressure during the heat sealing process reach the ideal state. By adjusting the temperature of the heat sealing strip or heat sealing knife and the pressure exerted by the machine, it can be adapted to different types of packaging materials and products. Precise control of temperature and pressure ensures a good sealing effect and avoids product damage caused by too high temperatures or incomplete sealing caused by too low temperatures.
Cold seal sealing method:
The cold sealing method uses special adhesive to bond packaging materials at room temperature to achieve sealing. In the cold sealing mode, the PLM-60 paper capping machine applies pressure through the pressing wheel or pressure plate to make the sealing material closely contact and bond with the bag mouth or container mouth. Compared with the heat sealing method, the cold sealing method does not require heating, can avoid damage to temperature-sensitive products, and is more energy-saving and environmentally friendly. In the cold sealing method, the sealing material usually adds a layer of special adhesive to the inside of the packaging material. When pressure is applied by a pinch wheel or pressure plate, the adhesive is activated, binding the packaging materials together to form a strong seal. This type of adhesive usually has good viscosity and temperature resistance, ensuring a strong seal. In the cold sealing mode, the PLM-60 paper capping machine ensures the sealing effect by accurately controlling the pressure of the pressing wheel or pressure plate. The pressure needs to be strong enough to ensure that the sealing materials fully contact and bond together, but not so strong that it damages the packaging material or product. Therefore, the machine is equipped with a pressure sensor and control system that can monitor and adjust the applied pressure in real time to achieve the best sealing effect.
The sealing method of the PLM-60 paper lid machine depends on the nature of the packaged items, the type of packaging material and the needs of the product. Whether it is heat sealing or cold sealing, it can ensure the sealing performance and quality of the product and meet the packaging requirements of different industries.
